Vitae Biomedical, a start-up company focusing on the development of cancer detection reagents, will debut at Bio Asia-Taiwan 2022 together with the National Biotechnology Research Park. Dr. I-Shu Lee, general manager of Vitae Biomedical, said that the highlights of this exhibition are 1) the EU CE-certified Lung Cancer IVD Reagent, and 2) the medical material class-1 Urine Collection Devices for Lung Cancer IVD certificated by MOHW. These products can detect lung cancer using only a urine sample, are non-invasive, and eliminate the radiation concerns of imaging medical devices. It can greatly improve the acceptance of lung cancer screening for many people, achieve early detection, and improve the survival rate of patients.
