As healthcare systems worldwide seek more accessible approaches to cancer risk assessment and long-term health management, Vitae Biomedical participated in WHA-related international exchange events in Geneva, Switzerland, showcasing its non-invasive urine-based lung cancer testing platform and engaging with healthcare and industry representatives from multiple countries.
The event brought together more than 30 Taiwanese healthcare institutions, medical technology companies, and industry organizations as part of Taiwan’s broader effort to share healthcare innovation and public health experience with the international community. During the exhibition, Vitae Biomedical presented its urine-based testing technology designed to support early lung cancer risk assessment and complement existing screening pathways through a simple, non-invasive approach.
Discussions with international visitors highlighted growing interest in preventive healthcare, accessible cancer screening, and tools that can help support clinical decision-making. As aging populations and rising cancer incidence continue to challenge healthcare systems globally, participants expressed increasing interest in solutions that enable earlier risk assessment and more efficient patient management.

During the exhibition, Taiwan’s Minister of Health and Welfare, Dr. Shih Chung-Liang, visited the company’s booth and exchanged views on potential clinical applications of non-invasive testing. Discussions covered the role of risk stratification before imaging-based screening, as well as future opportunities to support follow-up monitoring and long-term health management for individuals who may not require immediate invasive procedures.
According to Vitae Biomedical, the event provided valuable insights into evolving healthcare needs in Europe while creating opportunities for dialogue with potential international partners. The company views non-invasive testing not only as a tool for early risk assessment, but also as part of a broader movement toward preventive medicine and integrated health management.
Building on its ongoing international activities, Vitae Biomedical will continue to pursue collaboration opportunities in Japan, Europe, and other global markets. Through international partnerships, clinical collaboration, and continued innovation in non-invasive diagnostics, the company aims to contribute to more accessible and patient-friendly approaches to cancer detection and health management worldwide.
