Vitae Biomedical Strengthens Japan Market Engagement at Taipei Forum in Osaka
2025-08-19
Vitae Biomedical Co., Ltd. participated in the inaugural Taipei Forum held in Osaka, an event organized by the Taipei City Government to promote cross-border collaboration in smart healthcare and biomedical innovation.

The forum brought together startups from Taipei’s biotech ecosystem and key stakeholders from Japan’s government, industry, academia, and investment sectors. The event highlighted opportunities for collaboration across clinical applications, healthcare technologies, and international market development.

During the forum, Dr. Li Yi-Shu, CEO of Vitae Biomedical, presented the company’s non-invasive urine-based lung cancer detection technology. Already in clinical use in Taiwan, the solution offers a high-accuracy and patient-friendly approach to early cancer screening.

Vitae Biomedical is actively exploring clinical and regulatory partnerships in Japan to support local adoption. By engaging with Japan’s healthcare ecosystem, the company aims to accelerate the introduction of non-invasive screening solutions and expand access to early detection.

The forum also featured participation from major Japanese organizations, including government representatives from Osaka Prefecture and City, as well as leading institutions such as Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Hankyu Hanshin Holdings, The Japan Research Institute, and venture capital affiliated with Osaka University. Discussions covered startup investment, industry trends, and cross-border collaboration models, reflecting strong interest in Taiwan’s biomedical innovation.

Participation in the Taipei Forum marks an important step in Vitae Biomedical’s ongoing engagement with Japan. As interactions with local partners continue to deepen, the company is building a foundation for future clinical collaboration, regulatory alignment, and market entry.
